How to Play
Choose Your Settings
Select your preferred era, difficulty level, and game mode. Whether you want a quick daily challenge or a full campaign, there is a mode for you.
Study the Battle Image
Examine the artwork depicting a famous historical battle. Look for visual clues like armor, weapons, terrain, and formations.
Use Hints If Needed
Stuck? Reveal up to three progressive hints to help narrow down the battle. Each hint costs points, so use them wisely.
Submit Your Guess
Type the name of the battle and submit your answer. Correct answers earn points based on difficulty, hints used, and your current streak.
Climb the Leaderboard
Build your streak, earn achievements, and compete on the global leaderboard. Share your results with friends and challenge them to beat your score.

BattleGuess was created by Harry H, a developer and history enthusiast who wanted to make learning about military history fun and accessible.
What started as a side project combining a love of history with web development has grown into a game featuring over 200 battles, stunning AI-generated artwork, and multiple game modes designed to challenge and educate players of all levels.
